The FireScope Appliance Management Interface (AMI) has its own Admin account, isolated for security reasons from the user accounts in the FireScope Unify interface. By default, the username and password for this administration account are "admin" and "password" respectively.
To change the FireScope AMI Admin user password:
  1. Access the FireScope AMI, in one of two ways. If you are:
    • Logged into FireScope Unify as an administrator - Click Administration > UTILITIES > Appliance Management.
    • Not logged into FireScope Unify as an administrator - In a browser window, type the address of your FireScope appliance and add :8004 to the end (e.g., http://192.168.0.1:8004).
  2. Log in with administrative privileges. The Status page appears.
  3. In the left menu, click Change Password. The Change Password page appears.
  4. Complete the form.
  5. Click Save.
